Venus' Flower Basket

The Venus' flower basket looks like an otherworldly creature one would find on an alien planet. But it is instead a remarkable sea sponge found in the deepest parts of the ocean. Its body is composed of silica and looks like a sculpture or, perhaps, a vase made of glassy mesh. I daresay Venus' flower basket is one of nature's most impressive works of art.
